The Wicked Weed Brewpub, which opened in April, is a 1,200-sqaure-foot restaurant with a 36-seat main bar, a walk-up tasting bar as well as a stage for live entertainment.With a stay at Harrah's Cherokee Casino Resort in Cherokee, you'll be in the mountains, just a 4-minute walk from Harrahs Cherokee Casino and a 3-minute drive from Santa's Land Family Theme Park and Zoo. The upper deck has an elevated seating area and views of the high-def screens as well as three private Fan Caves with an 85-inch HDTV, two 43-inch 4K TVs and access to betting stations. The venue has a 90-foot ultra-high-definition screen, plush chairs with USB charging ports and full beverage service.

In partnership with Caesars Entertainment and William Hill, The Book betting space opened in March. In addition to the expansion project, several new gaming amenities and food and beverage offerings have already debuted earlier this year, with additional openings to come over the following months: The Book In addition to the 32,000-square-foot ballroom, the Cherokee Convention Center also features a prefunction ballroom, 26 meeting spaces, exhibition hall and more. The resort will also open a new three-story, 83,000-square-foot meetings and conventions space this fall, more than tripling the current convention space at Harrah’s Cherokee. The tower’s terrace pool is on the second floor, along with two exclusive 800-square-foot hospitality suites complete with full kitchens. A 50-seat lobby bar and lounge has a sky blue marble wall lined with cascading bottles of wine.

The tower’s two-story, open-air lobby has a 30-foot registration desk made of onyx stone that sits in front of a custom slatted walnut wood design, lit to create an abstract representation of the Smoky Mountains. The design concept emphasizes earth tones with accents of burnt sienna, golden hues and charcoal gray along with a mix of eucalyptus and walnut woods. Located adjacent to the new convention center, the 19-story tower will have 725 rooms and seven suites. The resort’s fourth hotel tower, The Cherokee, will open this fall. Harrah’s Cherokee Casino Resort in Cherokee, N.C., is set to complete a multiyear expansion project this fall. The $250 million development, which broke ground in June 2018, includes a new 725-room hotel tower, an 83,000-square-foot convention space and new food-and-beverage options.
